P10: Custom colour(s), logo, photograph or page conversion to SMS colours.

Existing logo/brand colours, photograph or page conversion to media neutral SMS colours (Standard, ECO or MAX).

This option is suited for brands or companies that would like to keep their old logo and brand identity, but would simply like to switch to SMS colours, to ensure colour consistency cross-media and thus simplify their brand description.

Please send your colours, logo, photograph or page to sms@spot-nordic.com, preferably in PDF, jpg or TIFF format,  sRGB format (contact sms@spot-nordic.com for details).

Each individual colour of the logo/brand identity must be shown seperately – preferably in the form of a colour cube within the layout. Each such colour will be issued a seperate SMS name that should be used in design and reproduction of the logo/brand colours from then on.

These colours will be on file at Spot-Nordic during the brand license period (1 year is included with the purchase) and printshops and manufacturers can contact Spot-Nordic for assistance when it comes to reproduction of the colours for a fee – see www.spotmatchingsystem.com/services.

If you wish to continue to use the ordered custom SMS colours after 12 months, extension of the brand license after the first 12 months costs EUR 60 per year.  We will contact you within 12 months to check if you would like to extend your brand license or opt out, in which case your custom SMS colours will be removed from our files.

If you have a few photographs or logo variations you would like us to adapt to an SMS colour space, it is a good idea to set all of them up into a workspace and export the layout with all the items you need us to adapt, in jpg format.

The maximum size of each file you are allowed to send to us is 10MB per order. We recommend that all files be sent in web resolution – i.e. 72 dpi.

If possible, please embed the icc profile of the item, otherwise we will assume it is in sRGB format.

Please write your requested SMS colour gamut in comments when you order – Standard, ECO or MAX – see supported icc profiles for each SMS standard here.

You will receive the layout back, delivered in the same format (TIFF or jpg) in sRGB.

From then on you will be able to do your own conversions on the file using our step-by-step instructions on how to convert from sRGB to other colour spaces.
